Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb chicken tenders (or sliced chicken breasts)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for shallow frying)
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 lb frozen or fresh French fries
  • 2 ears corn on the cob
  • 2 Tbsp butter (for corn)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook fries according to package directions until crisp.
  2. Boil corn in water for 6–8 minutes. Drain, butter, and salt.
  3. Pat chicken dry. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, coat in panko.
  5. Heat oil in skillet. Fry tenders 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F). Drain.
  6. Warm BBQ sauce with honey and butter until glossy (1–2 minutes).
  7. Toss chicken in sauce. Serve with fries, corn, and ranch.

Notes

  • Use boneless chicken breasts if tenders aren’t available.
  • Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
  • Air-fry fries for a healthier option.
