Burrata Tomato Salad

A fresh and creamy Burrata Tomato Salad with cherry tomatoes, red onion, and basil. Simple to make and perfect as an appetizer or light meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 ball burrata cheese
  • ¼ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 46 crostini or toasted bread slices

Instructions

  1. Add cherry tomatoes and red onion to a bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Toss gently.
  3. Transfer tomato mixture to a serving bowl or plate.
  4. Place burrata cheese in the center and gently break it open.
  5. Sprinkle with additional black pepper and fresh basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with crostini on the side.
