  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a small baking pan for pull-apart rolls.
  2. Separate the eggs. Place egg whites in a clean mixing bowl and yolks in a separate bowl.
  3. In the yolk bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, mozzarella, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the yolk-cheese mixture into the whipped whites, keeping the batter airy.
  6. Scoop into 8 mounds on the baking sheet or spoon into a pan for pull-apart rolls.
  7. Bake 18–22 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
