Corn and Pork Dumplings

Juicy pork and sweet corn dumplings with a flavorful filling, steamed or pan-fried for a delicious meal.

  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 3/4 cup sweet corn kernels (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, corn kernels, green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, black pepper, and cornstarch. Mix until well combined.
  2. Place a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface and add about 1 tablespoon of filling to the center.
  3. Lightly moisten the edges with water, fold, and pleat to seal.
  4. Arrange dumplings on a parchment-lined tray while assembling the rest.
  5. Steam dumplings for 12–15 minutes until fully cooked and glossy, or pan-fry until golden on the bottom then steam with a splash of water.
  6. Serve hot with soy sauce or chili oil.

  • Seal dumplings tightly to prevent filling from leaking.
