Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or thyme, chopped

Instructions

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes until smooth and thickened.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing until fully coated.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and add cherry tomatoes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
  • Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
