Irresistible 15-Minute Prosciutto Sandwich Recipe

A classic Italian prosciutto sandwich with fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and arugula on ciabatta bread.

Ingredients

  • 6 ciabatta sandwich rolls
  • 12 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 12 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 3 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh arugula
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the ciabatta rolls lengthwise and lightly toast if desired.
  2. Drizzle the inside of each roll with olive oil.
  3. Layer fresh mozzarella evenly on the bottom half of each roll.
  4. Add tomato slices and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  5. Top with arugula and thin slices of prosciutto.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  7. Close sandwiches, press gently, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Best served fresh.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
