Ingredients
Scale
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 oz cream cheese
1 cup almond flour
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
Add the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 60 to 90 seconds, stirring halfway through, until melted and smooth.
Stir in the almond flour, egg, and baking powder until a dough forms. If the dough feels too sticky, let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes.
Place the dough on the prepared pan and flatten it into an oval or rectangle about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the bread starts to turn lightly golden.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Remove the bread from the oven and brush the garlic butter mixture all over the top.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the bread.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes, until golden brown around the edges.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, slice, and serve warm.
