Irresistible Mini Spaghetti Pies for Your Family Feast

mini spaghetti pies

Mini spaghetti pies are a fun and easy family meal made in a muffin tin. These baked spaghetti cups are filled with seasoned ground beef, marinara sauce, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (or spaghetti sauce)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin well.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, toss spaghetti with egg, Parmesan, and melted butter until evenly coated.
  4. Twirl spaghetti into muffin cups, pressing firmly to form ‘nests’ with a small well in the center.
  5. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Stir marinara sauce into the beef and simmer 2–3 minutes.
  7. Spoon meat sauce into each spaghetti nest.
  8. Top each with shredded mozzarella.
  9. Bake 18–22 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil 1–2 minutes for golden spots (optional).
  10. Let rest 5 minutes, then lift out and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use a spoon or spatula to gently lift the spaghetti pies from the muffin tin.
  • Make ahead by assembling the pies and refrigerating before baking (add 3–5 minutes to bake time).
  • Substitute ground turkey or Italian sausage for the beef if desired.
