Parmesan Herb Keto Bread

A savory low-carb bread made with almond flour, Parmesan, and fresh herbs, perfect for keto diets.

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, for topping
  • 1 teaspoon extra chopped herbs, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×4-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, baking powder, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, sour cream, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Sprinkle the top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and extra herbs.
  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the loaf is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool before slicing.
