Sticky Honey Garlic Chicken

Juicy baked chicken thighs coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze.

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Sear chicken in oil for 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken in skillet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  7. Make cornstarch slurry with water.
  8. Remove chicken, thicken sauce with slurry for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Use oven mitts when handling the hot skillet.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
  • Serve with rice or vegetables.
